Technology can open doors, transform lives, and empower communities. Your support helps us keep our services accessible to the nonprofits, individuals, and youth we serve, ensuring that everyone can participate in the digital world.

We’re asking for donations to ensure local nonprofits and community organizations have the tech support they need to do their best work. Your support will fund the installation of computers in local shelters, tech support for local charities, digital skills training, and coding clubs for local students. 

Our History

Triceratops Technology Resources began in 2018 as a group of friends and tech professionals who wanted to give back. What started as a few small side-projects has revealed a greater need and evolved into a mission-driven organization. Nonprofits have enough challenges: technology shouldn't be one of them. We support nonprofits so they can realize their mission without technical impediments.

Our philosophy centers on one simple truth: technology is only valuable if it solves real problems. Our goal is not to push specific tools or platforms but to ensure nonprofits have what they truly need to work effectively. We use open-source solutions whenever possible, giving our partners the freedom to use and adapt their systems in the long term, and we remain technology-agnostic, tailoring solutions to the unique challenges each organization faces.

• Youth Coding Programs: We provide coding education and mentorship for young people, launching programs like Olympia’s first Girls Who Code chapter. Through these programs, youth gain essential tech skills and the confidence to explore future careers in technology.

• Community Wi-Fi Access: Internet access is a vital tool for anyone rebuilding their lives. We work to expand free, public Wi-Fi and upgrade connectivity in local shelters, ensuring that people have access to the opportunities and resources they need.

• Hands-On Digital Skills Training: We bridge the digital divide by going into housing communities, and schools, teaching people how to use their devices and navigate the digital world with confidence.
