Our Story

Founded in 2014, Raise for Rowyn honors the beautiful spirit of Rowyn Leea Johnson, who graced our lives for a short time. Born on April 19, 2013, Rowyn was surrounded by a loving family and a community that cherished her. She was a happy baby with a sweet disposition, always trying to keep up with her big brother Wyatt and bringing joy to her parents as Mommy's little helper and Daddy's little shadow.

Rowyn's bright personality shone through her giggles and her contagious laughter, bringing smiles to everyone around her. With her wild blonde curls adorned with big bows, she captured the hearts of all who knew her.

On September 16, 2014, Rowyn received her wings after a tragic accident, but her legacy lives on through our mission. Raise for Rowyn was created to keep her memory alive and to support families facing the unimaginable loss of a child, providing financial assistance for funeral and mortuary expenses for children who have passed away as well as emotional support to their families. To date Raise for Rowyn has provided assistance for over 800 children who have passed away in more than 30 states.
