Your donation today can make a significant difference in the lives of those who depend on the Olympia Film Society (OFS) and the Capitol Theater.   As Olympia's only arthouse theater, OFS has operated this iconic venue for nearly 50 years, producing unforgettable film experiences, incredible concerns and enriching cultural events. Your contribution, no matter the amount, is vital in preserving this treasured landmark and keeping it operational!

With your end-of-year contribution, we will have a stronger foundation to strengthen our organization and create more opportunities for the community to engage in the arts!  

Urgent action is needed to pay off our mortgage! OFS's biggest and most valuable asset is the Capitol Theater. With just $35,000 left on our mortgage and increasing operational costs in the new year, we can't afford to fall behind or let the bank own it! Your immediate support can help us secure our future and the future of your favorite art house theater.

An early payoff and lower bills allow OFS to redirect your investment to other critical operational costs. With your support, we can surpass this goal and raise additional funds in 2025 to help OFS manage the rising costs of payroll, utilities, and taxes. Even as a non-profit, OFS has to pay taxes. Your contribution will help us meet these financial responsibilities and continue our mission to present film, music, and art that engages our community, encourages volunteerism, and ensures the preservation of the Capitol Theater for generations!
