Mason County Senior Activities Association

Eating is a fundamental necessity for everyone, but many seniors face challenges in preparing or even acquiring the ingredients for a nutritious meal. At the Mason County Senior Activities Center, we strive to address this issue by providing hearty lunches five days a week. Our meals are generous in portion size, ensuring that our seniors receive the nourishment they need.

To help cover the cost of these meals, we ask for a minimal donation of just $4, even though the actual expense to prepare each lunch is around $8. This small contribution helps sustain our program and allows us to continue serving our community.

In addition to providing freshly cooked meals, we also believe in minimizing food waste. Any leftovers from our lunches are carefully packaged and distributed to those in need. Many of our seniors take advantage of “to-go” boxes, allowing them to enjoy their meals in two sittings—finishing the remaining portions for dinner later on.

At the Mason County Senior Activities Center, we are committed to ensuring that no senior goes hungry and that everyone has access to fulflling, home-style meals.
