Creating Community Through Art

hummingbird studio is a free, inclusive community art program that provides artists of all ages and abilities with a free, safe, and welcoming space to explore their creativity. Since 2015, we have been breaking down barriers to artistic expression and offering support and resources to anyone who seeks to connect through the power and love of art. 

At hummingbird studio, we believe that art belongs to everyone. Whether you're an experienced artist or picking up a paintbrush for the first time, our studio offers a safe, welcoming environment where individuality is celebrated and personal growth is encouraged. We provide the materials and space necessary, at no cost to artists, to explore a wide variety of media, from drawing & painting, textiles, collage, watercolor, charcoal, mixed media & beyond. We work loosely with themes, and focus on process rather than "product." 

We value unique personal perspectives & experiences, and believe in the power and importance of community inclusion. We encourage artists to express their own personal vision, try new things, and feel creatively empowered. The studio is a place where friendships blossom, common interests are found, and community is created. We want everyone to feel welcomed, included, accepted & become a part of the beautiful nest that is hummingbird.  

As a community-driven initiative, hummingbird studio thrives on the generosity of our supporters. We are so grateful for your financial support, no matter the amount.
